The thread that ties it together
Classic instincts.
A personal point of view.
A favorite fabric. An inherited table. The blue you always come back to. A room can begin with one thing you love—and grow into something that feels entirely your own.
How we can help
One room. Or one good idea.
Focused decorating help, shaped around your home and the decisions you want to make.
Color & pattern
Paint, wallpaper, and fabric selections that work together. Help finding the right balance between a generous floral, a crisp stripe, and a place for the eye to rest.
Finding the pieces
Sourcing furniture, lighting, textiles, and decorative pieces to give a room character. A mix of old and new, chosen with purpose.
A sense of home
Beautiful enough
for company.
Comfortable enough
for every day.
Blue Thread is drawn to traditional rooms with life in them: patterned fabrics, natural materials, collected pieces, and a little sparkle overhead.
The aim is a home you enjoy using. A dining room for lingering, a chair for curling up, and beautiful things that belong to your everyday life.

An eye for detail.
A house full of life.
I'm Jennifer McLeland, the person behind Blue Thread Interiors. My taste runs toward English country houses, beautiful chintz, classic stripes, and almost anything blue.
Decorating my own family's home brought those interests together. With five children, I care as much about how a room lives as how it looks—and I love the details that make gathering people feel special.
Blue Thread is a small decorating practice in Fort Worth, offering personal, thoughtful help with rooms and selections.
Project photography is coming as our own home takes shape. The fabric palette above is an illustrative image of the studio's aesthetic.
